Our Quartets
 Fiddlestix
Fiddlestix is a fairly new foursome with a whole lotta barbershop experience. The baritone, Portia, is the lead of the 1971 International Champion Quartet, The Bron’s Tones. The tenor, Sherry, and bass, Marcy, are multiple-time Region 23 Quartet Champions having won four times together with Reckon So. The lead, Michelle, and Portia are a little confused, but making headway at learning to sing new parts. They are a mother/daughter duo, and sang together as the tenor and lead of the Regional medalist quartet, Allure. Fiddlestix is what you’d call a long-distance relationship – one lives in Atlanta, another in Birmingham and two are in Nashville. We are so thrilled for Fiddlestix as they brought home the 2nd Place Regional medals from their first competition appearance in 2007. Even more exciting is that their score earned them a wildcard spot at International competition this October in Calgary, Alberta, Canada!!

 Black Tie
Black Tie quartet proudly represents The Kansas City, Sunflower Harmony, and TuneTown Show choruses and thus are proud to represent both Region 7 and Region 23 of Sweet Adelines International. Black Tie is a long distance quartet (Kansas and Tennessee) that has been together for nearly 2 years and is now proud to be the current Silver Medalists for Region 7. Our members, Jana Brown (tenor), Sheri Hart (lead), Sheila Martinez (baritone), and Michelle Sevigny (bass) have a combined total of 97 years singing barbershop including two International Quartet Champions (Sheila and Jana – Classic Edition 1998) and bring this experience to the stage with a fun, energetic sound with a repertoire ranging from standard Barbershop contest material to Frank Sinatra and the Beatles.

 Last Minute
Competing in the 2007 Young Women in Harmony Competition, Last Minute brought home the 1st place medal and the title of being the Young Women in Harmony Regional Champions. They also competed in the 2007 Region 23 Quartet contest in Chattanooga and placed 5th. In July, 2007 they represented Region 23 in the Rising Star International Competition held in San Antonio, Texas and came in 2nd. This young and exciting foursome have performed for local high schools, chapter shows, colleges and area businesses.
