TuneTown Show Chorus is getting ready to raise the roof at Vanderbilt's Langford Auditorium, so mark your calendars now and bring your family and friends to Encore! Join TuneTown Show Chorus for an exciting night of fun, laughter and hair raising four-part harmony at Langford Auditorium, Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. New this year....a shuttle bus for those parking in the 25th Avenue parking garage.



We are excited to tell you that our featured guest quartet is Lunch Break. Combining humor and youthful energy, Lunch Break brings a unique brand of entertainment to audiences of all ages. Lunch Break's repertoire includes barbershop, jazz, gospel, and folk-hip-hop-fusion. Lunch Break won the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2007 Dixie District Championship, and finished as the 11th place semifinalist at the International Barbershop Convention this July.



Also performing will be Kat Bowser. Kat has been singing all over the world for the past 20 years. She has toured with world renowned artists and opened for Tony Bennett. Kat is two part Bette Midler, one part Janis Joplin, a cup of blues, a spoonful of broadway, and a pinch of jazz. She's Nashville's very own Cabaret Troubador. Be prepared for a musical rollercoaster!

TuneTown Show Chorus is happy to announce its first Melody College Scholarship Award. This award honors the memory of the late Melody DeVane-Kight who was a devoted TuneTown member and dearly loved by her sisters in song. This scholarship is open to all of Region 23's YWIH qualifying high school seniors. (Click here for application & qualifying criteria.)
